LCA Membership The Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA) is a partnership of divisions representing professional counselors who enhance human development by providing benefits, products and services to expand professional knowledge and expertise; to promote recognition of counselors to the public and media; and to represent member’s interest before federal and state government. LCA represents 1400+ professional counselors in the counseling profession and related fields of interest. Q: How do I get a membership card? A: Membership cards are mailed to individuals after the membership fee has been received. LCA members are required to: Join at least one of the Divisions listed above Subscribe to the purposes of LCA Maintain ethical standards of professional conduct as described in the ACA Code of Ethics.
