This workshop will address research and evaluation in an overview of the research related to use of music in therapy and how music can be used to positively influence clients coping with both mental and physical ailments.
It will cover human growth and development in looking at how women, in particular, grow and evolve over time into adulthood and how this growth can influence their relationships with themselves and with others. It will also cover the stages of grief and how grieving impacts the growth process.
This workshop will cover social and cultural foundations in review of a social phenomenon happening around this album and how it is impacting women’s mental health, older adult women in particular.
This workshop will address the helping relationship in aiding clinicians in how to include music in their therapeutic toolbox and specifically how to utilize the intense emotional impact of the music of Taylor Swift in their work with clients.
