The Louisiana Career Development Association seeks to foster career development throughout the life span. LCDA strives to support and enhance the practice of career counseling, to promote ethical and responsible practice, to promote communication and exchange among K-12, college and private settings, to encourage cooperation with other organizations related to career development and to provide leadership and advocacy for the profession of career counseling.
LCDA is a division of the Louisiana Counseling Association and we serve to enhance the professional development and networking opportunities for career counselors throughout the state. Members of LCDA include K-12, post-secondary, and private practice counseling professionals who use their skills to promote career awareness, education, and self-development over the life-span.
